Q: Is my life insurance policy through work enough?

Employee group life insurance is a great benefit, but it may not provide enough coverage for your family.The coverage provided may cap at $50,000 or perhaps 1-2x your yearly salary (for example: a $150,000 coverage limit if you earn $75,000 a year). That coverage may not be enough to support a family with young kids or a lot of debt and expenses. Also, employee group life insurance can end if you leave your job. It’s a good idea to have your own life insurance policy in addition to any supplemental insurance coverage through your employer.

Q: Will my term life premium rates go up?

Q: Do I need a medical exam to get coverage?

Family Plan Term Life policies are available to adults 18-70.

Applicant must be a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States residing in the U.S. Gerber Life Insurance will not issue insurance for any proposed insured when a Power of Attorney or Guardianship exists on the proposed insured, except legal guardians of children.

Benefit amounts are subject to Gerber Life Insurance Company over insurance limits. A Buyer's Guide to Life Insurance and a Policy Summary are sent with all policies. You can get them without applying for insurance by writing to us.

Child Rider ICC23-CHR
